David Dunmoyer joined Miller Public Affairs Group as an account executive in 2019. A recent graduate of Texas Christian University (TCU), David received dual Bachelors of Science degrees in Political Science and Strategic Communication. While at TCU, David participated in veteran journalist Bob Schieffer’s Strategic Communication program with an emphasis in public relations.
Prior to joining Miller Public Affairs, David completed several internships in the political and public affairs arena including in the U.S. Congressional Office of former Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and in Sacramento for Stutzman Public Affairs and the California Business Roundtable. Additionally, he worked as a community moderator for Social Factor, a Fort-Worth-based digital marketing agency, and at Blue Zones as part of its marketing team.
During his time at TCU, David co-founded the student-led news outlet Freedom Frog and published weekly articles for the writing platform The Odyssey while serving as the local chapter's point person for communications.
Additionally, David competed with TCU's Speech and Debate Team and became the university’s first national finalist in extemporaneous and impromptu speaking at the annual National Forensics Association tournament.
David is a Sacramento native and is happy to return to the Golden State to begin his career in public affairs.
